Arctic Co-operatives Limited is a service federation owned and controlled by more than 30 community based co-operatives across Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Saskatchewan. Its member co-ops play a vital role in local economies, providing essential retail goods and services along with meaningful employment and training in some of Canada’s most remote northern communities.
Maintaining paper shelf labels took valuable staff time and made it hard to keep pricing accurate. Arctic Co-op wanted to improve pricing accuracy, reduce the time spent on label maintenance and create a more efficient shopping experience for its Members.
Deploying ESL across remote northern communities came with unique challenges.
